Using Groove Workspace™, a collaborative workgroup software by Groove
Networks, distributed members at remote locations and in different time
zones can retain their collaborative work environments using
e-communications.
At the center of this
collaborative work environment, Groove Workspace™ acts as a dashboard or
control panel annunciating all activities pertaining to a workgroup in a
real-time environment. Groove leverages the utility of applications, the
member is most familiar with, for performing various collaborative tasks.
The member can use the word processor, e-mail, streaming video, sound, or
telecommunications application of their choice to accomplish their
individual tasks. At the same time, other members can work on the same tasks
simultaneously with all files being updated synchronously while online or
automatically synchronizing all files once the member rejoins the online
community.
