Here are some of the basic functions of a two-button mouse.
Pointing:
move mouse pointer until it rests on the item of choice on the desktop.
The pointer usually looks like an arrow.
Clicking:
press and release the left mouse button
Double-clicking:
quickly press and release the left mouse button twice without moving the mouse
Dragging:
point to an item, hold down the left mouse button, move the item to the desired
location the screen and then release the left mouse button
Right-click:
press and release the right mouse button
Note: Some mice may have a wheel that can be used for scrolling or other special operations defined by the software.
Practice
doing each of the above functions.
